Senior Solution Implementation Specialist

As a Senior Implementation Specialist, you will work with Smartsheet customers on engagements to convert business requirements into Smartsheet solutions. Within this role, you will be considered the Subject Matter Expert pertaining to advanced Smartsheet functionalities in order to propose solutions for use cases across different industries and business groups. This role starts with the implementation of smaller packages, with the aim to build Smartsheet knowledge and experience to eventually deliver larger, more custom solutions with our Consulting Team.

 

This full-time position reports to a Manager of Professional Services and is primarily remote, with occasional in-person team meetings at our London, UK office.

 

You Will:

  • Recommend and build solutions required that accelerate time to value for our customers within launch guidelines
  • Develop into leading large custom consulting engagements with customers to understand their business challenges and develop solutions leveraging Smartsheet, our partners, and our API
  • Help configure successful application integrations such as Jira, Salesforce and Single Sign-On (SSO)
  • Serve as the Smartsheet subject matter expert (SME) on Smartsheet product capabilities
  • Develop tools, processes and best practices to ensure customers are realising the greatest possible value from Smartsheet
  • Manage/contribute to several projects concurrently in a billable capacity with a targeted utilisation rate.
  • Expand upon the Smartsheet solution portfolio, demonstrating best practices in implementation for use cases across variety of industries and departments
  • Provide feedback to our Product & Platform Engineering teams that inform additional product and service sales opportunities
  • Navigate customer conversations that lead to account growth
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

You Have:

  • At least 4+ years of experience in customer-facing positions in a professional services organisation
  • Hands-on experience in all aspects of solution delivery including scoping, design, configuration, customisation, and implementation of SaaS applications
  • Growth mindset with the desire to work in a collaborative environment to promote and drive superior team performance
  • High level of motivation, self-starter, excellent at follow-up, team-player with the ability to deliver within defined timelines
  • Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage competing client demands
  • Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic and high growth technology environment
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation), with the ability to explain technical subjects to non-technical end-user personnel in large enterprises
  • Willing to travel periodically (up to 25%) based on customer and business need
  • French or German language business capabilities preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of equivalent work experience
  • Legally authorised to work in the U.K. for any employer on an ongoing basis
