Previously, when publishing a sheet, report, or dashboard as Read Only, the default access control setting was “Available to anyone with the link.”
Now, the default access control selection when publishing as “Read Only - Full” (and “Edit by Anyone” in the case of sheets) is “Only available to users in the owner’s account.” This change in default selection reduces the risk of accidentally exposing sensitive information outside of the organization. Note: Account admins on Enterprise plans can change access control settings at an account level to determine whether published items can be viewed by anyone or only by people in their own organization. Admin Center.
