You can now apply simple character- and pattern-based validation to Text/Number and Contact fields on your form to help your team collect error-free numbers, percentages, emails, and phone numbers.
To start using validation, open a form in the form builder, click on a field to open the Field Settings panel, and select the type of validation you’d like to apply to that field. The validation will work in real time to prevent invalid data from being submitted via your form.
To create and edit a Smartsheet form, you must have admin permissions on the underlying sheet.
