Grouping is a powerful feature in timeline view which ensures that users can visually organize their data into horizontal lanes. We’re excited to announce that when opening timeline view in a sheet for the first time, grouping will now be applied by default. It will use the first single-select dropdown list, contact, or symbol column in the sheet.
Users can change or remove grouping in timeline at any time using the Group button in the toolbar.
